Angel number 0101 (01:01): love, work and the will to begin

On a 24-hour clock, 01:01 comes once a day, just over an hour after midnight; on a 12-hour clock, 1:01 comes twice, once more at one in the afternoon. People awake at that hour usually have ordinary reasons: finishing a piece of work, revising for an exam, just off a shift, or lying in bed turning over a plan. On the night of 31 December, after the countdown, plenty of people are still up past one with their New Year's resolutions. You remember meeting 01:01 and forget the glances at 00:58; what angel numbers are explains this selective attention.

Being up late is nothing unusual; the question is what keeps you awake. If trouble sleeping goes on for weeks, mention it to a doctor. Worth writing down: at 01:01, what did I want to begin, and was I about to start it in the middle of the night?

In love, Vehuiah stands for will and beginnings; the minus side is rage, destructiveness and stubborn authoritarianism. Ask: between the two of us, who decides when things start, from a trip to moving in together, and is that will or imposition? When I am angry, do I speak up so we can fix things, or let the anger break what we built? The Root chakra adds: do I feel safe enough beside this person to tell the truth?

At work, naming Vehuiah twice stresses creativity, but two items on its minus side, reckless impetuosity and lack of willpower, often travel together: enthusiasm, then nothing. Ask: which project have I launched several times without getting past week two? Does the idea that came at one in the morning still stand at nine? Am I short of will, or of groundwork: time, skills, sleep?

With money, the Root chakra out of balance is insecurity, hoarding and exhaustion. A beginning that involves money, such as opening a shop, needs ground before inspiration: have I worked out what I need to live on through the first stretch? Whatever you are about to pay for at one in the morning can wait until daylight. 0101 is not a signal to borrow, invest or make a large purchase.

The clock shows 01:01, but we say “one minute past one”: the leading zero only keeps the display at two digits. So Inti's number table reads 01:01 as 1 and 1, one for the hour and one for the minutes, as 17:17 is read as 17 + 17; see also what mirror hours are. It is also the first mirror hour of the day to name an Angel, right after 00:00, which is read as emptiness, as on angel number 000.

Angel number 111, the number of 1:11, also names Vehuiah and the Root chakra, but adds Lauviah number 11, success, with envy and pride on the minus side. 0101 has no Lauviah, so the question is not whether this beginning will succeed or put you ahead of anyone, but whether you truly want to begin, and have the ground to keep going.

For seven days, each time you meet 0101 or 01:01, note the time, the place, the thought, the feeling and one line for Vehuiah: was what I wanted to start just then will, or a sudden impulse? At the end of the week, pick one beginning from the notebook and take one small, checkable step in daylight: outline the first page, or talk with someone who has done it before. If late-night bursts of enthusiasm leave you sleepless or exhausted for weeks, talk to someone you trust and look for professional support. Health, money, legal and safety matters need facts and qualified people, not one more number.
